Roby's Independent Newsletter
Roby Residents' Voice is an independent newsletter created by and for the people of Roby. It is produced and distributed entirely by volunteers.
The first issue of the newsletter was printed in March 2008 and it is produced approx. every 2 months. Our aims are to positively promote the neighbourhood and highlight issues, as well as informing residents of activites and opportunities in the area.
We really want everyone to get involved, young and old alike, with anything you think might be interesting to our readers. As a newsletter we are completely independent; we have no bias with any political party or with the local council and it is purely for the benefit of the residents of Roby. If you would like to join us in any capacity - writing articles, providing ideas, assisting in any way - we'd love to hear from you.
We hope to deliver to all households in Roby (about 3,500 homes) as well as community premises such as doctors' surgeries and churches. This has not always been possible so far due to a lack of volunteers so if you think you could help with your street please get in touch and help us spread the word.
